Description: This session focuses on regional partnering between municipal, state, and federal agencies to guide resilient planning opportunities that will enhance reliable and sustainable infrastructure systems and prepare for climate and weather-related threats, with an emphasis on strategies and tools to enhance resilient development through coordination, partnerships, and informed land use decision-making. An overview of federal funding opportunities will be presented for consideration. The presentation will feature a GIS-based resiliency planning raster tool to understand resiliency threats and provide communities with a comprehensive perspective for informed planning and decision-making.
