Description: A healthy system for the development of renewable energy projects requires partnerships, analysis and studies, fair & transparent regulations, and an expedient permitting process. Environmental consultants, county planners, energy developers, and a public utility provider will paint the complete picture for you in this session. This session will explore the studies necessary, the different regulatory paths taken by Coconino & Pima Counties, what the energy developers’ role is, and the resource planning and expected load growth by the public utility that will shape the trajectory o renewable energy growth in Arizona moving forward.
