As the Planning and Economic Development Director for the Hualapai Tribe, Mr. Davidson oversees staff assigned to the Housing Improvement Program (BIA funded), the Tribal Environmental Review Commission (TERC), building code review and inspection, the bi-weekly newsletter and the Youth Recreation Program. Mr. Davidson also works with the Department’s grant writer to obtain Department of Justice, Housing and Urban Development, and other funding to construct new capital improvements for the Tribe where he acts as the Tribe’s contracting officer. Other planning duties include assisting Grand Canyon Resort Corporation (a tribal corporation) with its development efforts on the West Rim, and preparing the draft Hualapai Master Plan for TERC review, public comment and Council adoption. In late 2014, Mr. Davidson was given role of acting general manager for the newly formed Hualapai Tribal Utility Authority and is in the process of contracting with Western for Boulder Canyon Project hydropower and helping the utility authority amend the Hualapai Constitution to allow the utility authority to acquire a loan (debt) to bring hard line power to Grand Canyon West.
Prior to working for the Hualapai Tribe, Mr. Davidson was employed by the Mohave County Development Services Department as their long-range planner where he helped the County with Growing Smarter updates to the General Plan, facilitated the creation and adoption of half a dozen area plans and reviewed numerous plan and permit applications over 17 years.
Mr. Davidson received a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning at Cal-Poly, Pomona (1990) with the honor of magna cum laude and an M.A. in Urban Planning (1992). Mr. Davidson has been a member of the Arizona Planning Association since 1996 and was granted American Institute of Certified Planners membership in 2000.

Bob Graham is Principal Architect of Motley Design Group of Phoenix, Arizona. The focus of his work has been in the areas of historic preservation, urban infill and rehabilitation projects. He has been recognized individually for his volunteer activities and his design work in historic preservation with the Arizona Heritage Preservation Award and also received the Young Architect Citation from the Arizona Division of the American Institute of Architects. He currently serves on the City of Phoenix’s Central City Village Planning Committee, Board member of the Phoenix Trolley Museum and the Grand Avenue Members’ Association, and is founder and President of the Grand Avenue Rail Project.
