She is Principal Investigator of the Arizona Research Center for Housing Equity and Sustainability (ARCHES), a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Hispanic Serving Institution Center of Excellence that is advancing knowledge and evidence-based solutions related to problems of housing security, climate, and health in the arid Southwest. She recently co-created an award-winning course on Zoning for Equity, which is collaboratively taught at seven institutions nationwide. She also is Senior Associate Editor at Journal of Urban Affairs, President of the Board of Directors for the Southwest Fair Housing Council, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Noah Berke recently joined Wilson & Company, bringing regional and municipal urban planning experience involving development review, code analysis, code rewrites, site design and development, project management, annexations, zoning, comprehensive plans, campus planning, economic development, cannabis planning, floodplain management planning, neighborhood planning, short term rental planning and program implementation, public engagement, and public policy development and implementation.
He was previously is a Planning Manager for the City of Santa Fe Land Use Department and has 16 years of professional planning experience.
He oversaw complex planning and development applications and operations in the Current Planning Division of the Land Use Department. He managed the staff of the Planning Division.
He previously and currently reviews various complex land use development cases and oversees the neighborhood planning program for the City of Santa Fe. He has previously worked in the Mayor's Office and the Engineering Division of the Land Use Department.
While working in the Engineering Division he was able to work closely with Wildland Urban Interface Division of the Fire Department to rewrite land use ordinances for development in the Wildland Urban Interface Zones as well as overseeing development in the mountains and flood zones.
Noah holds a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico and Bachelor of Science in Regional Development from the University of Arizona.
