Take-Away: Planners will leave the session having a basic understanding of the significant hydrogen investments already underway in Arizona and how these systems will impact their communities, especially with respect to transportation and emissions.

Description: Arizona planners are already familiar with the significant role solar and wind play in our power production. The next alternative energy source is likely to be hydrogen. This session will introduce Arizona planners to hydrogen’s role in replacing fossil fuels in our economy, how hydrogen is produced and consumed, and hear about specific hydrogen projects in the state.
